Description: This is a hardbound book with a leather spine in a slipcase entitled "The Sea and the Jungle" by H.M. Tomlinson, published by The Imprint Society in 1971. The book is 9-3/4 by 6 inches with xiv, 220 pages. The book was issued in a limited edition of 1950 numbered copies. The book is illustrated by Garrick Palmer, who signed the colophon. As an aside, the book is printed on Basingwerk Parchment paper, which was one of my favorite papers during my printing days. The leather spine is rubbed and slightly chipped; otherwise the book is in very good condition in a poor slipcase.
