Description: For sale is a copy of The Pilot by James Fenimore Cooper as published by The Limited Editions Club in 1968. The book is in very good condition. It has a few minor issues. There is some staining/discoloration to the front and back boards, and a little bump to one corner of the front cover and a bit of discoloration to a portion of the spine (see photos). There also is a pencil scribble to the final page of the text (see photo). The original slipcase is included and it shows a tiny amount of wear and discoloration (see photo). Also included is the original Monthly Letter. Only 1,500 copies of this book were made and this is number 420 and is signed by illustrator Robert Quackenbush.
