History/Details: History: · For more than 70 years, Semic Publications and "Bulls" have been dedicated to producing, designing, and marketing a wide array of Phantom comics and collectibles through their Fan Club and various Northern European comic book publications, including Fantomen, Fantomet, and Musta Naamio. "Bulls" has exclusively held the license for producing Phantom merchandise in Sweden during this time. Details: · There are (4) very distinct versions of the Good Mark Medallion/Pendant: · The 1st issue of the Good Mark Medallion/Pendant was initially produced in Sweden in 1976. This version was silver-colored and measured 1.2/16" in diameter, featuring a 'closed-back.' It differed from the smaller 2nd release, a 15/16" gold-colored medallion with an 'open-back' or 'see-through' design, which was introduced in 1982. The 1st issue Medallion did not bear any identification markings or copyright insignia. · The 2nd issue of Good Mark Medallions/Pendants, with a diameter of 15/16" and 22" chains, was manufactured in Sweden from 1982 to 1985. The initial 1982 version did not feature any identification markings. · The 3rd issue, a MUCH SMALLER Good Mark gold-colored medallions/pendants, measuring 0.75" and featuring 20" chains, was initially designed for the Norwegian & Danish markets. This pendant was first introduced in the Norwegian Fantomet Comic Book Issue #18 in 1982 and did not include any identification markings. Later, in 1985, the same pendant was reissued with a '©KFS/Bulls' insignia stamped on the back for clear identification. · The 4th issue of Good Mark Medallion/Pendants, produced in Sweden from 1985 through the early 1990s, bore a '©KFS/Bulls' insignia stamped on the back. (This change likely stemmed from more stringent copyright regulations and the need for clear identification on the items). · Note for Phantom collectors: Regrettably, the Fantomen 1996 Special Edition "Fantomen En Odödlig Jegend" Hardback Book contains inaccuracies in the classification and dating of various collectibles, including Good Mark pendants and several other items.
