Description: The New Pocket Roget's Thesaurus In Dictionary Form edited by Norman Lewis Description Up for sale is a vintage The New Pocket Roget's Thesaurus In Dictionary Form edited by Norman Lewis; paperback edition. This book was kept in storage for quite a long time, and I wasn't even aware of it until I undertook this massive spring cleaning around the house. It exhibits some signs of wear on it; appearing in the form of yellowing on the pages (especially along the borders), some signs of wear and tear (because let's face it... after the pages yellow like this, they do tend to become easily brittle and whatnot), and appears to have some personalization on it; as the name Luz seems to have been written on the first couple of pages, one in pencil and the other one annoyingly in red ink. Some of the pages are starting to come away from the adhesive located along the spline and there are a few minor rips on the edges of the pages (as previously mentioned with the whole wear and tear condition). I have no idea when this book was published as there doesn't seem to be a visible date anywhere on it. The book does mention that it's the paperback version of the hardcover edition of this book and there's also a mention of a first edition as well... however, I don't know if they mean to say that this is the first edition of this paperback version, or it's just an unknown revised paperback edition of the first edition of the hardcover book. Either way, I'm selling it in as-is condition to any interested party out there that's into collecting vintage books regardless of what condition they're in. I figure it's pretty much a relic at this point when you consider how reference books like these have all been digitized in this day and age; making actual printed versions of information one can easily find online just seem relatively archaic. But at any rate, I'm still sure there has to be a collector out there that would be interested in this; which is why I'm pricing it to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts.
