Description: This is an old 35 mm format manual focus lens with adapter to SONY E mount NEX series or new Alpha series MILC (mirrorless) body. Not a native SONY autofocus lens. 35 mm film camera lens' film coverage is 36 x 24 mm, so called full frame by digital standard. E-mount. Not A-mount. For cameras like A7 A6000 NEX-5 etc. I have fully tested this lens to ensure the functionality. The test photo is taken with this lens mounted on SONY NEX-5 digital. Please confirm you can use this lens. If you are not sure about anything, please ask me. Chinon 55 mm F 1.7 lens SN 396501 M42 universal screw mount, and an M42 adapter to NEX E-mount MILC body.Lens is from 1970's. About 50 years old. Glass is in great shape and cleanliness for a 50 years old lens. No sign of fungus. Focus is smooth and firm. Old school lens feel. Aperture works well.
