This Sony Alpha mount lens will require an adapter for use with E mount camera bodies. Note that this is a “Di” lens. It is fully compatible with all Sony Alpha digital cameras (DSLR/SLT) and full frame models in crop mode. This Tamron zoom lens (S/N 1379xx) is in near mint condition with just a few minor signs of wear to barrel cosmetics noted with extremely close inspection. The optics are perfect. No scratches, cleaning marks, blemishes etc, and no fungus or dust inside. The aperture is clean and snappy, and the mount is clean and unmarked. The zoom and focus move smoothly. Considering the focal range, the focusing is amazingly fast and precise due to the internal focusing design. With its non-rotating front element and internal focus, using a circular polarizer is a cinch. This lens has 8 contacts and includes ADI flash distance integration for more accurate flash exposures. Caps and hood included along with a Polaroid MC-UV Filter. The use of aspherical elements in the lens reduces the number of elements and allows the compact design, a close minimum focus and internal focusing. LD (Low Dispersion) glass keeps image quality high. All of this makes the Tamron 18-200mm a perfect traveling or walk around lens.
