Description: For a complete description and condition grading, please read the full description before purchasing! This is an original replacement Stanley plane iron. It is 2" wide, which works with hand plane No's 4, 4C, 5, 5C; BEDROCK 604, 604C, 605, & 605C STEEL S4 & S5; ALUMINUM A4 & A5. It is the "BB" trademark stamp with Stanley in the notched rectangle, and the rounded top which Stanley began using after WWII. Lots of life left, but it will need sharpened. No signs of wear or rust - probably never used. No problems or issues. EXCELLENT: 95-99% of original finish remaining. Very slight wear with no rust. No problems or issues. GOOD PLUS: 85-95% of original finish remaining. Used but well maintained. Scuffs, light wear, very little rust. GOOD: 65-85% of original finish remaining. Moderate wear and/or rust. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws. POOR: 0-25% of original finish remaining. Pitted, abused, heavily worn. Serious damage and missing major parts.
