Description: Beautiful linen tea napkin from the ss United States. In the polka-dot pattern used during afternoon tea. "US Lines 57" is woven into the edge of each. See archival photo of Margaret Truman, the President's daughter, having tea on the trip, and the table is set with this pattern of linen. These came from an elderly gentleman in the Newport News area who attended the 1984 United States auction with his wife. Measures about 14" x 13.5". Excellent condition.
