If your truck is an 05 model you may not have the G56 Transmission. If your transmission housing is made of Aluminum you have a G56. If it is steel you have an NV5600 trans and this will not fit. (We carry the NV5600 single and dual discs as well)There are no special requirements for installation. The unique pressure plate design features a slightly stiffer pedal pressure than stock. At idle and engagement this unit is more noisy than a stock unit, however this is normal and should be expected.
