Description: SonorLite Scandinavian Birch 4 pc drum set - Made in Germany. Beautiful example of one of the most sought after Sonor drum sets ever to come out of the Bad Berleburge Factory! Sonorlite drum shells are unique in several respects. It is made from Scandinavian Birch with a ratio of strength to weight that is particularly favorable to percussion and makes a Sonorlite shell nearly 50% lighter than comparable shells. The bass drum (22x17) is a 12-ply shell and measures 7mms, while the mounted toms (12x10 and 13x11) and floor tom (16x17) are 9-ply and measure 6mms. The only 2 flaws with this kit is the missing handle on the mounted tom post (pic 3 and 7) and some rim rash on the batter side bass drum hoop (pic 2). All of the chrome is impecable and the wood finish is immaculate with no noticeable dings or scratches.
