Description: Beautiful wooden tripod legs for camera or perhaps surveying equipment. No discernable maker's mark, so perhaps user made. But very well made. Finish is in excellent condition. Outer sections pivot out and the inside section slides down with two slots to guide it and is held in place by a brass thrumscrew. All hardware is brass, including screws to hold brackets in place on the legs. The only exception is the buckle for the leather belt that holds the legs in a bundle. That appears to be steel/iron. One of the thumbscrews is different than the other two. All are perfectly useable. There are typical marks from use, such as shallow dents and a few scratches, but no major gouges, chips, or cracks. Locating pins for the upper arms fit into holes in the sides of the arms. The leather belt is fairly worn and the end broke off, so it does not buckle. Legs are 22-1/2" long when collapsed and a maximum of 56" long extended.
