Description: This is a vintage linen postcard, postally used and postmarked 1950 from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Postcard is an advertisement for the Schwaben-Hof Restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and features an artistic rendering by K. Eberle of a German family at dinner. Back of postcard depicts a message from a woman named "Lolita" who mentions that she is touring with Blackstone the Magician. This would be the famous Blackstone Sr. A facebook page devoted to Blackstone had this picture (not included in sale) from 1950 of "Lolita" and Blackstone's assistant Halloway Branch. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases, stains and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions. Reasonable offers will be considered.
