Description: The Saturnworks soft touch momentary double switch is a high quality compact replacement for expensive and bulky external control switches. The Saturnworks soft touch momentary double switch can replace the Boss FS-6 for switching momentary (aka 'unlatching') applications -- except that it's much smaller, more durable, and cooler looking. We've tried a variety of soft touch momentary switches over the decade plus we've been building pedals. Our current switches (we started using them in 2019) are the best we've found on the market. They are the perfect combination of being both quiet and heavy duty. Paired with a heavy duty Neutrik brand jack, our soft touch double switch is the best mechanical momentary double switch out there. The Saturnworks double switch is available with either normally closed OR normally open switches installed. Most Boss devices use normally closed (NC) switches for momentary switching applications. This switch would replace the Boss FS-6 for momentary switching applications. Most brands other than Boss use normally open (NO) switches for momentary switching applications. Examples of brands that use normally open momentary switches include EHX, MXR, Dunlop, Line 6, JHS, and most boutique brands.
