At the time of the exhibition, excellent items were collected from the Imperial Household Agency, Tokyo National Museum, Japan Folk Crafts Museum, Osaka Japan Folk Crafts Museum, SHOJI HAMADA Memorial Mashiko Sankokan Museum, Suntory Museum of Art, Tokugawa Reimeikai Foundation and individual collectors. Of particular note was the first announcement of rare and excellent items such as lacquer ware and musical instruments. This book is a excellent book where you can enjoy Okinawan crafts with beautiful big pictures. It contains about 90 textiles including bingata, about 20 bingata patterns, about 80 lacquer ware, about 40 musical instruments, and about 50 pottery.
