Description: Russian Badge to a Submarine Sailor for Good Memory of Service. This is a GUARANTEED ORIGINAL Russian-made tbadge from the early 1990s, not a replica or recent issue. Badges of this kind were usually commissioned by the command of the naval vessel or unit. They were often issued to servicemen who had completed their stint of conscription (for enlisted sailors) or at retirement (for commissioned officers and career NCOs.) The badge is of good quality: made in solid brass and "cold enamels", and quite massive measuring approx. 33 mm in height and 40 mm in width. The submarine is a separate superimposed part. The inscription on the red scroll is "For Good Memory of Service". Note thatthe badge shows both Soviet and Russian (post-Soviet) naval flags. The badge is in GREAT CONDITION showing only storage age and occasional tiny scuffs to the enamel, no chips, significant scratches or serious blemishes.
