You are buying one BLACK PLATE AND one BLACK TAB ONLY. THE WHITE PLATE IS ONLY ON FOR AN EXAMPLE. I HAVE WHITE PLATES ON ANOTHER LISTING. I have been asked do I have a buy it now price so I am giving you the opportunity to buy instead of bidding. I have a few of these plates and tabs left but they are getting less and less. They are GPO plates (black) like the one's in the 1970s only with the times put in. The blank plate (black) was made like this as the GPO would have put dyno tape on them with the times on it. There is no Royal Mail or GPO logo on these plates as this was the way they were made and this stops you from getting any unwanted mail in your own post box and it is against the law to have Royal Mail or GPO on your post box. These are Post Box collection time plates and tabs for a Royal Mail EIIR or GVIR cast iron fronted post box with a pressed steel back. The black plates can have some very small marks on them but need to be truned a certain way to see them. The sizes of the plate are 20cms x 11cms approx and the size of the tab is 4cms x 4.5cms approx. I have put photos of three different plates on so you can have your pick. The plate with no time is like this so you can add your own times or your own writing. I have other sizes of plates and also some Irish ones spare. I have also some other post box spares like locks and plate holders etc. So please contact me. They will also fit the EIIR and GVIR reproduction boxes. as they can be cut down but please check the sizes of the plate holder on your box and if you have any issues please contact me as I have other sizes. They are made of plastic. I have been a post box collector for a number of years and I am getting rid of a few items I no longer require.
