Description: My reproduction Titanic life belts are machine and hand stitched. Made from cork and canvas. There are only fourteen remaining Titanic lifebelts known to exist. This lifebelt represents the ones donned by passengers of the Titanic. I was given the opportunity to inspect and make restoration improvements to Ken Marschall's original lifebelt. Detailed measurements were taken, applying them to my replicas. With my experience handling an original lifebelt. I am able to bring you an accurate and affordable replica. Assembled in the same fashion as the originals. Details from the following Titanic lifebelts were also sent to me to create my replicas. Ernest St. Clair lifebelt on display at the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Along with the Sir Cosmo Duff-Gorden lifebelt in the hands of a private collector. Each are made to order, and produced in limited quantities. Message me for special requests. Made from two single pieces of natural colored cotton canvas with cork sewn between them. While not all of the lifebelts had ink markings. Ink markings can be seen on several of the lifebelts. One worn by Titanic survivor Mabel Francatelli, and Duff Gordan. Ken Marschall's half lifebelt, and Dr. Frank Blackmarr recovered lifebelt. The "Front" and "Fosbery" stamps were recreated from the markings on Ken Marschall's half lifebelt The "Inside Back" and "Warranted to Pass" stamps were recreated from photos of the Francatelli lifebelt. The lifebelts without ink markings were most likely faded away over the years. Like the original, the stamps may be skewed due to shifting of the cork blocks.
