Description: Rare Vintage MCM Impromptu Fine China Iroquois Ben Seibel Design Carafe This rare ivory-colored Impromptu carafe was designed by the prolific designer Ben Seibel for Iroquois China in and features a clean silhouette and delicate line art depicting stylized flowers and stems. This beautiful piece weighs 2 pounds 13.8 ounces, and measures 11 3/8” tall with the lid and 10 1/8” without the lid. The carafe is 8” from handle to spout, 5 ½” wide, and has a 5” diameter at the base. This is in very good vintage condition, but there is a long crack in the glaze that goes down from the lip across the body and under the handle.
