Description: Vintage Fiesta ware 11 3/4" (per book) 11 3/8" actual diameter, and 3" high Serving Bowl -GREEN GLAZE lower case imprinted fiesta HLC USA. I have been told the following: It is a vintage piece not made since about 1945. It is Original Green (sometimes called Light Green) and is one of the original 5 glaze colors introduced in 1936. This shape was long discontinued by the time the glaze known as Medium Green came out in 1959.It is a lovely piece and true vintage, in the original "light" green, not Medium Green." (I personally don't know if it's medium green or light green) Also the fruit bowls are listed as 11 3/4" and I measure this one to be 11 3/8". Someone else shared this helpful advice with me:The Fiesta book written by the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association says it's an 11 3/4" Fruit bowl and explains that it was listed incorrectly when it was sold so that's what it's called (page 49). The actual size according to the book is more like 11 3/8". Shipped insured DD
