Rare True Stacked Skyline Chicago Illinois 5-3/8 Antique Sterling Souvenir Spoon

Description: This is a really nice, hard-to-find antique sterling silver souvenir spoon from Chicago, Illinois. What makes this one special is the handle. This is called a stacked skyline, vertical, as opposed to the more common, but still great, horizontal skyline handles. It is about 5-3/8" long and heavy for its size. The bowl is embossed with the landmark structure, the "Government Building Chicago." Maker's marks: "Sterling" only, but we think it was probably made by Watson, a prominent American maker back around 1900 or so when this was made. If you know who made this, please let us know and we will add it to the listing. Weight: It weighs about 24.2 grams of sterling silver, almost an ounce. Engraving: None.
