Thank you for your interest. collector description: CW Cavalry Hardee Hat. This hat and a picture of Trooper George Flack (CW 2 101809) came to me via Mike Eckerd in 1998 though it was painful. I had been after him to sell it to me for months. Finally he need funds for Christmas presents and offered it to me but I had to buy it the next day. The cost was high for me at the time and I had to do some innovative financing to get it to him on time. The repairs to the top occurred prior to my buying the hat and I tried to find a hatter who repaired hats but was unsuccessful. It is very delicate.
