Description: This aquatint print by famous French Artist Jean-Louis Prevost (circa 1760-1810) is one his most sought-after creations!! It has been cropped to fit into the shadow box, but the title is still mostly legible: "Pears, Peaches, Plums and Grapes No. 7"!! The print is in EXCELLENT condition, but the shadow box should be opened so as to clean the interior and the glass which is the original glass with many air bubbles visible as you shift the reflection in the glass!! The frame was constructed with screws on the back so that the interior can be easily accessed, and it is in EXCELLENT condition as well!! I am guessing this was created in the mid 1800's, perhaps prior to the Civil War!! It would cost a small fortune to get a frame of this quality made today!! Approx. 18" X 15" X 4.5" thick!! NOTE: Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me, so if you live in closer proximity to Greensboro, NC, the cost will go down!! I refund overcharges less a small packing & handling fee, so even if you pay the quoted charge you will not be overcharged!! BUT PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICING to maximize your potential refund as eBay now charges a final value fee on the shipping too!! Please see my many art and antique listings and email me with any questions!!
