Rare Medallion Bronze Brass Rescuers Ship San Francisco Wrecked 1853 3 1/4"

Description: We are very proud to offer this wonderful assortment of items that we have been collecting over the years. This is a really nice find a brass bronze medallion dated 1866 given to the rescuers of the steam ship San Francisco which was wrecked Dec. 1853. It is a great looking piece with a raised design on both sides and the writing around the edge explaining the story and a wonderful addition to your collection. The piece measures approx. 3 1/4" across by 1/4" tall. It is as we found it in nice used condition, with some possible marks, but looking great for its age all from age, use, and storage. We take great care in packing our items for safe arrival and try to ship out items within the 1-2 days after payment. A very nice find and a great addition to your home, or collection.
