The Hallicrafters TW-1200 was made in 1979 and retailed for $399.95. It was made in Japan and also known as number R-1200. As of appearance it's an A+ and all functions switches, buttons, dial, light, meter, antennas all work properly without any issues we see. Tested with batteries and works properly as well. The reception and sound is solid clearly receives FM, AM, and Air bands. Some bands may work too but reception is lousy here without a better antenna.Likely may need a bit of help with that, beyond my abilities to assess. Coverage: 0.145-0.400, 0.530-1.6, 1.6-4, 4-8, 8-12, 12-18, 18-30, 66-86, 88-108, 144-174 and 430-470MHz, reception modes are AM, FM, CW and SSB, features auto or manual RF gain, Squelch, and BFO on upper and lower side bands, a world time map and dial, and a combination S-meter, power source by 120-240 volts AC, 120 volts DC, 12 volts DC or 8-D cell batteries.
