Description: I found this interesting ceramic ashtray along with some other vintage items. At first I didn't think it was an ashtray but a trinket holder. After studying it I believe it is designed with a bust of an aborigine and a snake carved into the holder area. I believe it is ceramic with a black base paint and reddish brown wiped paint over top. I haven't found one like it. It is captivating to look at! -Pre-owned -Signed on bottom Teuroes (?) Australia -About 4"H x 6.5"W x 6" deep -has a tiny spot on edge doesn't feel like a chip, also black spot on tray part. I believe this is part of the paint job but thought I would mention both. Do not notice it very much at all until really scrutinizing it (see last picture for both areas) Great to also use as a trinket, coin or jewelry holder, to set on a table as a conversation piece to add to your ashtray collection. *I enjoy picking up some interesting and beautiful vintage and modern items in hopes to find them a new home and save them from the landfill. *Proceeds will be going to at this time college expenses for a budding artist. *I am a smoke free home but do have a dog. Every now and then he wants to send along a little piece of his hair as a bonus. :) *Please note, I am not an expert but enjoying finding unusual and beautiful items*
