Paste link into a browser window: [isdntekvideo] An excellent example of an early coin-op phonograph by Columbia, designated as a Model "S", which were early editions of the Model "AS", with no variations between the two models.Recently professional serviced, which included a complete teardown, replacement of the sound tube and timing gear, rebuilding of the reproducer, and cleaning, polishing & lubricating.The four feet protruding from the base were used to secure the phonograph by screwing it to a bar or cabinet top. Locks and keys for the coin box and front door are present. This is a rare and historic phonograph that must be partially disassembled for safe shipping. The mechanism will be removed from the case, and the vertical sound tube and coin chute will also be removed. The glass cover will be separately boxed. Three (3) boxes in all will be utilized. The buyer must have some degree of mechanical ability and be prepared to reinstall everything after arrival. We also have a Columbia BS, N, and Rosenfield coin-ops in stock, in addition to Edison Excelsior and Eclipse, and several Regina Hexaphones.
