Would it still float? The added flotation of sponsons will help keep it and you from going to the bottom. Helps with stability too and acts as a bumper as well. And they look sharp! Adds an accent stripe to your boat that makes it pop! Each sponson is 9 feet long and this listing is for set of 2. Cross-section is a 4-inch semicircle. Made of extremely long lasting ethafoam, which is a resilient closed-cell foam that can stand up to outdoor conditions, including many years of outdoor storage. We don't know much about attaching with glue. One customer reported success attaching them to a fiberglass boat with 5-minute epoxy. That's all we know about gluing them. Usually they are attached with seven #10=24 machine screws, 14 washers and seven nuts (not included) per side. Shipping notes: (1) Free shipping only to contiguous 48 states.
