Description: Note! this specimen has Pyrite "disease" or "rot" Beautiful well formed Pyrite crystal cluster that is in the beginning stages of what is known as "Pyrite rot" where small fragments will fall off and eventually the entire piece will be a pile of small pieces..how long that will take? not sure but it will last longer if not handled. Only tiny bits have come free from this one so far and it actually feels solid but it was with others in a box that are more advanced along and crumble when handled. The crystals are good sized so maybe there will be a bunch of individual crystals at some point left in the rubble.
