Stainless Steel Burner NozzleAs you can see in the pictures the nozzle can be attached with 1 stainless steel machine screw or 1 set screw for your burner space, it's a good idea to put a small notch in your pipe for the set screw to hold on to. The nozzle being 3" long will take most of the heat off your burner pipe. Only put the very end of a burner nozzle even with or OUT AWAY IS BETTER ( they will last a lot longer) away from the inside top (sealing) of the lining / insulation / fire brick etc. in your heating chamber / forge, DON'T PUT ANY BURNER NOZZLE YOU PURCHASE INSIDE YOUR HEATING CHAMBER OR THEY WILL ALL BURN UP, The farther out the longer they last & keep cooler & still have a nozzle work 4 you. Nozzles are 304 stainless steel made to use around what they call a standard 3/4" water pipe, that is the (inside diameter) I.D. the (outside diameter) O.D. is just about 1-1/16" there is a space approximately .020 inch between the pipe & the nozzle, nobody has had a problem with that. Nozzle are machined in a lathe. The O.D. of the flare end is 1-7/16' to 1-1/2" the other end is 1-1/4", threads are 8-32. Overlapping the nozzle on your pipe is different for different burners but 2" is a good start.
