Description: This is a vintage wood crate which once held 12 bottles of POSTIE'S SOFT DRINKS. There is a date inside the crate of 2 52 which I'm surmising represents February of 1952. Case has built-in handles and metal reinforcing bands around the edges; those bands are somewhat rusty. The crate is 17 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 6" and contains the name POSTIES as well as "SOFT DRINKS" and "YOU'LL ENJOY" and their phone number at the time which consisted of just 5 digits. As you can see, there is some wood missing--2 narrow pieces on each of the long sides. There's also a small piece of wood missing on one of the dividers; check out my 6th picture; it's the top slot on the right. If you're having trouble seeing that, you can enlarge the picture. Crate weighs approx. 6 pounds prior to being packed for shipment to the winner. There's also some writing on the inside of the crate. Check out all my pictures.
