Description: Exquisite 1895 (October 23, to be precise!) wedding ensemble done in a weighted silk in candlelight hue. Draped bodice, cartridge pleated shoulder seams gather enough fabric to make those dramatic leg of mutton sleeves. Embroidered pleated lace bows on each shoulder and on collar (a separate piece from bodice). Very narrow sleeves. Bodice hooks into seam, inner piece of muslin has metal hooks and eyes (female missing- will need added if desired). Rosette knotted waist sash and large bow in back. Fully boned inside. Has the Bible stored with it from the wedding.Skirt has hook and eye closure in back and deep box pleats- lined in a brushed cotton that is somehow stiffened to hold the shape of the back- longer than front. She's not perfect, sadly, but she IS 128 years old. This is not something to be worn. The bodice has missing hooks, 2 holes in the puff of left sleeve- wear at shoulder seam on left where loops for hooks are. A few spots here and there. The front draping is a little wonky- it was sort of re-shaped in storage for all those years. The skirt has multiple stains as shown and the hem is worn from being on the floor when worn. bodice measures 12" shoulders, 32" bust, 23" waist, 16" long, 22" sleevesskirt measures 24" waist, 44" hips, 41" long in front
