We have been selling and shipping built ups for 40 years - there is no way to guarantee them to arrive intact. 95% of ours DO arrive intact. But you could be one of the 5%. Built ups were never made to ship. AGAIN - EXPECT SOME POSSIBLE NEED TO REASSEMBLE. As kits were sold in pieces to begin with - one arriving not fully intact will NOT be a reason for a claim. Also, please be aware that close up pictures might emphasize dust and minor imperfections that you won't see with the naked eye. Most of our items are from 30 to 50 years old and will have some degree of stress cracks, crazing, etc. Expect them. We do not highlight 'typical wear' unless we feel it is out of the norm. Additionally, wires get brittle, rubber dry rots, strings get frail. Talking mechanisms go mute. Battery operated items stop working. All our items are sold for display purposes only. THE company for monster model kits (and other character/figure kits) of the 1960's and 1970s. By the time the final two monster kits rolled off the line (Godzilla's Go Cart and Kong's Thronester), the line was almost dead. These two kits are by far the hardest monster kits to find today. Polar Lights reissued the kit in 1998. PLEASE NOTE: Built ups were NOT designed to be shipped. While we take every precaution in packaging, we would expect MINIMALLY a part or two to come off. Please make a note of this. Get yours today. Payment Policy Payment is due within 2 days of auction close or date of purchase - EXCEPTION: if payment is snail mailed, we request it to be mailed within 2 business days. Ebay defaults to only online payments but we have no problem with personal checks or money orders. Just be sure to tell us you're sending one and note that checks are held up to 10-15 days to clear. There is a one business day processing time needed for shipments (ie items paid by midnight Sunday will go out Tuesday. We try to get most items paid on Monday shipped on Tuesday - but if time doesn't permit, please don't expect package to ship until Friday). ATTENTION UK Buyers: Yes....we DO ship to the UK. We finally relented when they pulled the plug on ALL our active listings (during this time, we couldn't add or edit listings but could let our normal store items "ride"). But eBay has become a very hostile environment for small business sellers - especially vintage dealers whose business model doesn't fall in line with eBay's forced one-size-fits-all-we-really-want-to-be-just-like-Amazon model. We have been ramping up our presence in other venues - where sales tax isn't collected and we can offer better pricing.
