Description: Please read carefully. I have 2 of these, this listing is for ONE. I competed in IASCA in the late 90s, these were mounted inside the rear speaker enclosures in a C4 Corvette. IASCA rules stated you had to have access to the gain controls, and fuses. The space was so tight the power wires had to go through the side of the amp chassis. SO this amp had the gain controls removed and wired to an outside control in the car. The rca jacks were removed but I have them if you wish to reinstall them. Ive left those cables on the amps. You will have to supply 1 pair of single channel 10k pots for the gain controls or 1 stereo 10k pot. (Audio taper) You can solder it to the existing multiwire connecter or remove that and go straight to the board IF you find one with physical compatibility (unknown). The fuseholder is removed and there is a bridge across its terminals. An outside fuse near the amp(not included) accomplishes the same function. There are a lot of holes drilled in the chassis. They dont affect operation. These amps were beasts in their day, they came with birth certificates from PG showing output of over 320 watts. After competing for one season and approximately 50 hours of playing time they were removed from the car wrapped up and put in storage where they have remained since 1999 (25 years) The circuit boards show no corrosion and no overheated components. Although I am selling these as parts/repair, I am confident once gain controls are installed they should be good for many years of use. These amps used all thru hole construction and are easily repaired and modified. The last 2 images show they way they were when removed from the car. Ive removed the excess cabling from within. I used these amps to win the SoCal division championship SQ+ NOV. 601+ in 1998 for teamROCS. Thanks for looking.
