Shipped for 7-Cents on the barque, "Rio," the mail arrived in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 3, 1851. The mail reached Boston on 11/5/51, and an answer was sent on November 25th! Noted imperfections aside, this is one neat piece of stampless mail sent between Brazil and Boston in 1851!
