Pair Vintage Mr. Spray Spray Paint Cans Clear Lacquer Copper Aero-Jet Medina OH

Description: Thank you for checking out my listing! Up for bid is a nice group of two vintage Mr. Spray Fast Dry Spray Paint cans. The one can is Part No. M-20: Copper, and the other is Part No. M-5: Clear Lacquer. These cans are metal with metal caps and paper labels, and both cans still have the plastic nozzle protector caps over the spray nozzles as well. Both cans are 15 ounce cans and measure about 7 ¾ inches tall. They both have a lot of their contents still inside and look to have been used sparingly. If purchased, these cans will be shipped USPS ground and per the USPS regulations for hazardous materials. The cans are in good shape for their age and storage. They were kept in a garage for most of their life so their paper labels show wear. There is foxing on both labels, along with minor paper loss, staining, scuffs and scratches. The clear lacquer can appears to have more damage than the copper, however both labels still display well and are well attached, though both labels have a small area at the top of the seam where the paper isn’t perfectly adhered anymore. Both lids show wear, and the copper can’s lid does have some surface rust, though it does not extend inside the cap itself. There is some surface rust and oxidation on the exposed metal under the cap around the spray head, but nothing that appears to be detrimental to its use. The copper can has been sprayed before as noted by the copper color in front of the spray nozzle, but it looks to have been sprayed maybe once or sparingly at the most. I am not sure how much the clear lacquer can has been sprayed, but I weighed both cans individually and the copper can weighs 1lb 7oz, while the clear lacquer can weighs 1lb 3oz. I have not tested either cans, but they appear they should still work. Please look at the pictures closely to better understand each can’s exterior condition. Overall the two cans are great examples of vintage spray paint, and appear that they could still be used, or at the very least would make a great addition to any spray paint can collection! As mentioned before, they will be packed and shipped in accordance to USPS regulations for hazardous materials.
