This LP Custom has a very comfortable '60's neck profile that gets meatier as you move down the board, mahogany body/neck, and a solid, super dark rosewood fretboard. The gold hardware has aged beautifully as you can see from the pictures. These guitars are favorites amongst gigging musicians for their quality, sound and overall playability. These guitars were made with great quality components and expert craftsmanship. As soon as you plug them in you can feel the quality of those Japanese made humbucking pickups, which deliver that super sweet vintage tone. Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good condition with moderate play-wear on the front & back. It has a larger ding on the back, a sticker discoloration spot on the front and some light scratches throughout but nothing nasty. This white beauty has plenty of life left in the original frets and plays absolutely effortlessly. This guitar truly is a gem and she is ready to rock straight out of the case. The shortened K Orville serial number format is YPPPP, with the K letter and the first 0 having no year or date information. When the K Orville guitars were made between 1989 and 1993, Terada were the only guitar factory making all of the Orville by Gibson and Orville guitars.
