Description: Description This wonderful fireplace was salvaged from a Harlem NY brownstone.It is made of oak and is painted. The top has a mirror in the center flanked by small shelves, each supported by 2 brackets.The wood panels at the sides have Eastlake details.The shelf is supported by tall fluted and spoon carved brackets that go to the floor.The breast has applied raised panels with a circular embellishment in the middle.Measurements are 61 inches wide at the shelf, 48.25 tall to shelf, 79.5 overall and 10 deep. The firebox opening is 42 inches wide by 36.5 tall.Please note, I forgot to take pics of this one prior to removal. There was a matching mantel on the same floor so these pics are of the other mantel. The paint and everything else is the same, dims slightly different but accurate in listing. Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The insert is not included. Please look at the pictures carefully. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship.
