There are just a couple of faint marks; one on the front and one on the back- see the last two photos. Really a gorgeous bag. The bag is branded and labeled only with "etc." I wrote to the Orla Kiely company and they said the following about it: This was a very old design that we manufactured. ETC was what we called the 'Coated Cotton' bags. It's possible that the bag was a sample bag that we had made.
