Original Vintage 13” Composition Shirley Temple Doll

Description: Adorable Vintage 13 Composition Shirley Temple Doll - Dancing Dress! This 13-inch Shirley Temple doll is a true vintage gem!!! With her curly blonde hair and hazel eyes, she is a perfect representation of the beloved child star. This doll is extra special! This 90-year-old doll is in excellent condition. Her composition is bright and colorful and she has no cracks or crazing!! She has only some paint wear in places, as is common to these dolls. Her original mohair wig is full and has its original curls... I merely fluffed and recurled a few of her locks to bring them back to life! This beautiful little doll features her original Dancing Dress (from the movie "Curly Top"), onesie slip/panties and replaced shoes/socks. Her dress is still crisp with its original knife-pleats, but the material has tiny pin holes in several places and there is a small part of the hem that is missing (see photos). The ribbons on the dress have been replaced. (Remnants of the tag are along the front waist seam.) Her eyes have crazed, but have been sealed. Also, she had some wear on the ends of her fingers, but they have been lightly touched up. She is an original creation from Ideal, and she is as sweet as can be!!! As a collector, I have owned over 100 composition Shirley Temple dolls, and I grade her as EXCELLENT!! She is a rare treasure!!! The tiny teddy bear is included, if you like!
