Inner layer in soft knitted fire retardant fabric, ultraflat antirubbing seams, floating arms with elastic bellows and knitted elastic insert on the back for maximum freedom of movement. The OMP First S racing suit is thoughtfully designed, extremely comfortable, and carries the FIA8856-2018 fire resistant homologation. Rating Notes: This suit is mainly manufactured with the FIA8856-2018 rating. This is roughly equivalent to the SFI3.2A/5 (SFI-5) rating commonly used in the USA and should be accepted at any event the SFI3.2A/5 rating is required. Occasionally, OMP also offers this suit with both the FIA8856 rating and the SFI-5 rating tags attached. We attempt to offer this version when possible, however, either version should be accepted by an organization requiring SFI-5 rated suits. Sizing Chart An additional consideration should be the position the garment will be worn in. Specifically, the clamshell orientation of the driving position requires additional material in order to prevent tugging the wearer. This is especially important when wearing a one piece suit. To account for this when selecting a suit: ensure you are on the lower end of the range for a particular size so there will be enough material to prevent the suit from tugging when seated.
