Description: For sale is this antique Stanley flat bottom spoke shave, weighing 9.5 oz., and measuring 9-3/4" long. Signed "No. 51" on the body, and "Stanley Made In U.S.A." on the 2-1/8" wide X 1-3/4" tall blade iron, it is in excellent overall unrestored condition, with much of its original black Japanning still present, as pictured. The blade iron's edge is good, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. Any cleaning, oiling, and detailing is left up to you.
