Description: Early hotel china oval serving dish or tray made by Syracuse China for use at The Commodore Hotel which sat close to the Grand Central Railroad Station in New York City since demolished. It is backstamped with the code for being made in 1925. Condition is very good with only minor wear and typical minor clay and glaze flaws as made. No chis or cracks. Meaaures about 10-3/8 inches long and 7-1/4 inches wide.
