New Old Original series Geppetto by Ser Jacopo 412 Bent Billiard Natural - Gepetto Ser Jacopo's original Geppetto series was introduced over 30 years ago and was a mainstay for a number of years. While designed to be an "entry level" pipe from Ser Jacopo, the Gepettos from the original series are hand made from Extra grade briar and the handcut stems are the equal of those found on mainline Ser Jacopo pipes. They are high end pipes in every way.The original Geppetto pipes are all rustic and available in 15 shapes. They come in 4 main finishes: Dark Plum, Brown (Walnut), Natural and Natural fumee`. (Note: not all shapes are available in the Natural Fumee` finish). They are marked with a 3 digit code (on occasion a 2 digit code is used), for the finish and shape. For example a 212 would be the Dark Plum finish and the Bent Billiard shape. A 405 would be a Natural Apple, etc.Full details on the original Geppetto line are available on the Ser Jacopo website. Once upon a time there was an old wood carver called Gepetto.He had much imagination and a great love for his work…One day a friend gave him a lovely piece of wood knowing it would please the wood carver.Gepetto took this old block of wood, and decided to carve a marionette to help him feel less lonely.He worked hard at the block, and in the end created a marionette who, with a little magic,came to life with the help of a little magic, becoming Gepetto's life long companion.…and what if Gepetto had decided to make a pipe out of that old block? Handmade by Ser Jacopo The pipe pictured is the pipe you will receive.The pipe comes with a Gepetto pipe glove (color may vary).The stem is handmade from Lucite / Acrylic / Plexiglas and will not tarnish.This pipe DOES NOT use a filter.All pipes are shipped insured.
