ThermaFlo Disc consists of stainless steel, silver alloy, copper, silver alloy, stainless steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. SonicSensor helps maintain proper cooking temperature. Self-Basting Covers form a vapor seal with the rim of the pan. A semi-vacuum is created which locks in food juices, flavors, vitamins, and minerals. This cookware was purchased in 1983. The cookware they sell now is only 5-ply. It has been in my hopeless chest and never used.
