Description: Description [Hizumitas Fuzz Sustainer] Hizumitas is a dark and musical fuzz effect pedal jointly developed by Boris, a Japanese rock band that has established a solid position in the global music scene, and EQD, which adheres to the punk rock spirit in its manufacturing. The development history dates back to May 2019. That year, Boris participated in the EQD live tour held in five cities in Japan with Relaxer, the band of Jamie Stillman, the president and developer of EQD. During the tour, the heavy and sustained unique sound of Boris' guitarist Wata inspired Jamie, and EQD began planning to develop a signature fuzz for Wata. Wata has been using vintage Japanese fuzz pedals for many years, and Jamie also owned several of the same pedals, but the individual differences between pedals in the 1970s were large, and the prototype we made had a sound far different from the one Wata owned. The fuzz she owned was different from the ones we had tested so far, with a large, enveloping bass sound, but also a rough mid-high range with an edge and powerful sustain. And this time, EQD's Hizumitas faithfully reproduces that sound. Hizumitas is not just a reproduction of Wata's pedal, but also has a powerful output level and a good tone. The tone dramatically changes the sound character and can also create a fine fuzz sound like distortion.
