BTI is a 3rd-party supplier of batteries and battery chargers for Apple laptops and other equipment. When the company first started up they earned a reputation for high quality batteries and charging equipment for Apple PowerBooks. This listing is for a model MC-SC100 battery charger/conditioner for Apple PowerBooks 140 through 180c. The MC-SC100 includes everything you need to recharge a PowerBook's battery outside of the computer using either 110VAC or 12-volts DC. In addition to recharging batteries this device can also recondition them to eliminate lost capacity due to NiCd memory effects. IMHO this is a much better charger than Apple's M3050 and as a bonus it will work from a 12-volt DC power outlet. This particular charger has never been used. The box has been opened for photos, but the charger itself is still sealed in the manufacturer's wrapper (see photo 4). Please see the photos for details and specifications.
