I also included photos of 50 out of 75 Marlin Lever-action rifles that I own. There are at least 800 photos in this book, mostly in Color. Marlin went thru many ups and downs, which are described in this book. I don't claim to have all the info, or all the mysteries figured out, but I have alot of it. You'll learn about "Dual Citizenship" rifles, the "HS Prefix, the "Star" Stamp, evolution of the sights, the stocks, the main-Spring, etc. I have included Observed SNs for every model. I have write-ups on the features and characteristics of each and every model. I have pictures of the Patents used. I have worked out the entire Marlin Series of Lever-action SNs from 1881-2016. I have a complete list of M39a SNs for each year. I turned the pages side-ways so the pictures would be 50% larger. This book is aimed at Gun Stores who buy and sell Marlin Lever-guns and to those Serious Collectors who want to go the extra mile, and learn things that few other people know. I hope you will enjoy this massive volume of information that exists no where else. There are write-ups on every model, and write-ups about specific features. I don't claim to have all the info, but I have found alot more than most people know of. I have received full permission from Marlin/Remington, Gun Digest and others to use photos in this book.
