Description: NEPAL POLICE SHOULDER PATCH SET- (5) KATHMANDU- RARE This is a set of Police Patches from Nepal that I acquired in Kathmandu in a Police Patch trade/swap. I was told that the NEPAL POLICE PATCH with the large Nepalese Flag is an older version, still in use, but is being phased out. The shoulder patch with the blue background is the newer patch that I saw being worn by the majority of the police on the streets with the NEPAL POLICE horizontal tab on the chest. I was told that the red Patch is utilized by officers working in government buildings. The red patch with the "H" is utilized by officers working in hospitals. Four of the patches have velcro backing / tabs. See photos translation and a pic of the blue newer patch in use. I acquired a duplicate set for my collection, and these hard to get patches are the only extra ones that I have.
