Description: Mr. Babadook (movie) premiered in New South Wales on September 8, 2013. About a year later, Jennifer Kent asked her fans if they would like to pre-purchase their own pop-up book. The first 2000 people would receive a signed copy of this first edition popup like the one featured in the movie. The fans went wild, the books went into production and were sent out many months later. This is one of those original pop up books, in Mint Condition and still in it's original packaging. It's even still in the box it was shipped in from Australia. It is extremely rare, has been out of the box only a handful of times and kept in a humidity-controlled safe for close to 10 years in a smoke-free home. The background pop outs are also like-new as they have only been viewed once. This pop up book has only had 1 owner and it's in fantastic condition. 1st Edition #1940/2000
