Description: 1913 Postcard RPPC Minneapolis, MN ID'd as Clarissa Pearl Larkin (1894-1979) in full length pose. Post card is marked,"Wedmark239 20th AvenueMinneapolis" I looked up Miss Larkin, and found her birth and death dates and information, as well as those of her parents. She was born in 1894 in Richland, Arkansas to Arthur W Larkin and Susan Eva Derrick Larkin. Clarissa Pearl Larkin (not sure if she married) died in 1979. There is some wear to the edges and corners and a slight crease on the left side. There are a couple of ink spots at the top. Some scratching and soiling to surface. The photo is nice and shows the openness of Clarissa's face, and shows off her lovely full-length coat. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.
